Where Have We Been?

Sorry gang, the group has sort of been on hiatus lately. It's my fault. I have been very ill and had to spend some time in the hospital. We should be getting back together for more jammin' soon. Please bear with us. In the meantime, I've been working on some backtracks from past sessions. They should be posted sometime over the next couple of months. Keep checkin' back. Everything Old iz New Again ...

We decided to post some older recordings from our first "studio," (aka HDawgs' Living Room). While the playing leaves plenty to be desired, (we didn't even bother to give them names), the quality of the recording is not half-bad. If nothing else, these little riffs will probably play over and over in your head until you just want to slam your melon against a brick wall like a jackhammer to stop the excruciating repetition of the same simple riff getting louder and Louder and LOUDER and god, will they ever stop playing ... please stop! For god's sake, STOP! AAAAUUUUUGGGGHHHH! SOMEBODY KILL ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Improvementz on the Way

We've been working rather feverishly on improvements to the blog. I'm hoping to add some photos and a song player in the near future, so you can hear the screeching noise that we call music and see what idiots with axes look like. Any comments or suggestions would be welcome. After all, we're doing this for you folks; if you don't like something, tell us. We can't get any better without your help. 'Cause we sure as hell don't have a clue what we're doing. But, I must admit, it's an awful lot of fun. Pick up a guitar and jam!

Bullshit with a Soundtrack

We gather once a week to jam and bullshit. Sort of like bullshit with a soundtrack. My intention with this blog is to allow other disturbed individuals to, if they so please, listen to that bullshit. Hopefully you'll like the soundtrack.

We have various levels of experience going on here, from a couple months to a couple decades. Which is why most of our jams (can't really call them "songs") are blues based. It's simple, it's fun, it's flexible. Most rock is based on it, and it can bring the mutha'effen house down or be played with an old acoustic on the back porch during a thunderstorm.

We have an "open door" policy, so just about anyone who wants to can come jam. We have had several talented guests in the past; hopefully more in the future. We are always learning from these comrades in music.
